We brought our hamster Bun（奶黄包） to this hospital twice for checkups, and both experiences were wonderful. It was our first time visiting a vet clinic in Canada, and we were very nervous, but Dr. Rachel Rode and the whole team were incredibly patient, gentle, and reassuring. They helped us understand Bun’s condition clearly and made us feel supported throughout the visits.
Bun passed away recently, and looking back, we are truly grateful she received care from such kind and compassionate professionals. Thank you for everything.

They refused my King Shepherd Cancer Treatment. I purchased a Male Puppy Plan. However I am the Victim of Identity theft. I am having trouble securing paperwork for the Farley Foundation. Instead of moving my money for the Puppy Plan towards his required surgery they said they will give me a Partial Refund and I can take him elsewhere. The amount will not even cover the surgery. They do not care about Makwa. They care about lining their pockets
Update. They absolutely REFUSED to Advocate to Farley Foundation. Basically told me my companion is good as dead due to paperwork. They FAILED their own Mandate related to Animal Welfare
Update. They refunded my Male puppy plan rather than Advocate. However they told me to come and get the Cheque and his Medical Records. They did not have the Medical Records it's ready, just the cheque, they are now blatantly hanging up on me. Interference in Makwas Care

I can’t thank this animal hospital enough for the amazing care they provided to my budgie after he broke his wing. Dr. Regan is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to explain everything clearly, helping me through a very stressful time. From the moment we walked in, the staff was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about my bird’s well-being. Thanks to their expert care, my budgie is healing well. I highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone who wants the best care for their pet. I come all the way from Brampton and don’t trust anyone else but here ❤️
Animal Hospital of high park is a wonderful place to bring your exotic pets, from checkups to health issues and emergencies. They did everything in their power to provide treatment and care for our little cockatiel Blanca. They regularly followed up with us to check on her health, and though we lost her in the end, we were comforted knowing that we and the wonderful team here did everything possible to try and save her. We knew that their team truly cared about out baby. We will trust no other vet to care for the health of our pet birds.
Not only has my family been going there for over twenty years, but everyone I've spoken to has said the same thing. They are among the best. In the past they've helped my dog and cats. Sure the animals eventually died, but thanks to their Veterinarians they lived long lives.
I now have bunnies, and they have been wonderful with them. I'm paying average Vet prices for superb service. That's what a pet owner should be prioritizing. They're knowledgeable, competent and most importantly care. This includes reception, they always make me feel welcome and are very helpful.
I recommend you stop looking, and take your pet here. They're in amazing hands.
