First time there with my pup for a hair cut and he came out like a clean, brand new dog. Smelled amazing, it was nice and even, the cut was great and have no complaints. Pictured below is my pup as a fluff ball and right after the hair cut. Would recommend!

Wonderful first grooming experience for my 4 month old bernedoodle. I appreciate that they took the time to make sure my dog felt comfortable. We will definitely be back!
Just wanted to add on to my original review. We’ve taken our dog here two more times. And every experience has been absolutely wonderful. I appreciate the fact the groomers take the time to help you understand your dog’s coat (type of brush, how to brush, when to brush, etc). They always put the dog’s best interest first and make sure they are comfortable - rather than leaving them traumatized. I really appreciate finding a groomer who cares so much about the well-being of the animal. THANK YOU!
I’m glad I stumbled upon this wonderful shop in Bowness! They offer all sorts of grooming needs and one of the staff makes custom harnesses, handmade leashes, collars, dog clothes, earrings you name it she is so talented. I love supporting local businesses and she gave us wonderful advice on potty training our 4 month puppy. I’m so grateful that they noticed a reaction to his eyes and ears and sent my puppy to the Vet to confirm their suspicion of an ear infection. The pic is Eli’s first time at the groomers, I appreciate the touch of a glow in the dark Halloween theme bandanna, it’s the small things that matter.

Really disappointed in Atomic Dog and their customer service. I called to ask a simple question about why our regular charge was increased and not communicated to us, and also to give some basic feedback on the last groom my dog had. Not only did the receptionist speak down to me in a really condescending way but she called a few hours later after I had already rebooked my next appointment and said we were no longer welcome back as a client. I asked to speak to the owner because I am honestly shocked, I was super polite during our conversation and as a person who gets my dog groomed every 6 weeks consistently wanted to ask some simple questions and make sure we were on the same page. It has been days and I've still not heard back from the owner. They have definitely lost us as a customer but wanted to forewarn others, that the majority of the good reviews on this site are from years ago and based on the way we were treated things at Atomic Dog seem to have changed.

I'm heartbroken to see the grooming of my dog especially now that is winter. All I asked for was ignored. My puppy got the lowest fur length which I specifically said no! he has a hard time in the cold. Plus he had a hard time because the table was very small and tall and he is afraid of heights. I should have listen to my instinct of stepping back and leave when I heard the comments the owner "does not like grooming" or "short will last longer, this is going to be expensive, close to $200". Pet owners want the best for our furry friends, I'm feeling so disappointed. It will grow... this isn't what I wanted for my puppy holidays. I like to support small businesses however I am a client and deserve to get what I paid for.
There is a significant difference between the length I chose and what actually my puppy got. I assume you are aware of that and know it very well when grooming. Terrible, even the eyelashes from one side were trimmed! Everything I requested were ignored. And this is not about what I paid, it is more about quality and service.
