Nancy Lynn is amazing and understands dogs so well. She is great at sharing her knowledge to train us humans how best to work with our beloved dog family members. Our new puppy is was very shy and timid by nature and she helped us understand how best to work with our lovely Willow. I would not hesitate to recommend Awesome K9 to anyone who wants to learn more about themselves and their dog to gain the best dog human relationship experience.

Coco was very anxious, nervous and all over the place before the training. We dreaded walking him as he was lunging, pulling and barking at any dog he sees. We were so frustrated as it was impossible to sit him in a class with other dogs. One on one training with Nancy made “life-changing” impact on our lives. We see him more focused, confident and happy now. And us too! It’s so worth it!

We loved our training experience at Awesome K9 Inc! Nancy Lynn is kind and knowledgeable and encouraging in her approach. She helped us take our 3 year old Whoodle (Wheaten Terrier X Poodle) from anxious to more confident and eager to please over the course of our weeks together. Would highly recommend!

When I had first approached Nancy-Lynn I had just gotten my first puppy and was beyond stressed at the constant biting, inability to go in her crate and numerous other behaviors that I now realize are just puppy behaviors. Nancy-Lynn was incredibly patient with us and is an amazing trainer. Over the span of several weeks Nancy-Lynn would ask us how the previous week had gone and would give us homework to work on and as each week went by our puppy became the best dog. With the purchase of puppy classes which we did we also got 6 months of free pack walks which was HUGE. It was an amazing value. We were the ones with the puppy that started by biting her leash and trying to escape her collar and by the end of them our dog was walking loosely on leash by us. I highly recommend Nancy-Lynn as your future trainer.

On the recommendation of a co-worker, we booked the Proven Puppy training program to help with our new puppy, specifically to work on potty training, reduce his biting and walking on a leash. We have raised a few dogs but it’s been a while since we experience the puppy stage as we’ve been more used to senior dogs. We wrapped up our sessions about a month ago, but have been practicing with our puppy since attending. Overall, he is a much better listener since attending the training sessions and practicing at home. He's more consistent in coming when he's called, much gentler in playing and getting better on his leash with every walk. He’s even gotten into some agility training! It’s really rewarding to see him learn and respond so positively – such a smart boy! Getting a new puppy can be overwhelming. We found it really helpful to work with Nancy-Lynn and learn the steps towards getting good behaviour and responses, rather than punishing bad behaviour. Although some lessons were challenging, including using the leash, we found her approach to be very clear, consistent and kind, which we appreciated. We found that breaking down the steps to be very helpful and we, as humans, learned just as much as our puppy did! We’re looking forward to attending a pack walk in the warmer weather as we continue to work on his training. We would recommend Nancy-Lynn to any owner of a new puppy who’s looking for a solid base of basic training!

Nancy is simply awesome! We brought our dachshund mix, Darcy to her for help curbing protective behaviour. In just a few sessions we noticed a significant change. Nancy equipped us with a wealth of knowledge and all the tools we need to help Darcy be the amazing pup we know she is. One-on-one training can seem intimidating, but it makes a world of difference. I can’t express how happy we are with our investment in Darcy’s wellbeing through Nancy.

Nancy and Awesome K9 helped us so much! We adopted our boy Goose from OHS at 1 year old and he had some major issues with focus, anxiety, impulse control, reactivity, pulling, and generally listening to commands. We both worked full time and our attempts at training him on our own were falling short. When we found Nancy, we were struggling so much that we weren't sure if adopting Goose was the best decision for us. Giving him up would have broken all of our hearts. Thankfully, Nancy's intervention and the training regimen of the Awesome K9 program helped turn Goose around. It's like night and day. The program that Nancy introduces is just as much about training the humans to behave as it is for the dogs. We learned tools and methods for training Goose that, when applied consistently, have resulted in a better behaved and happier dog, and a happier us! Goose is now almost 2 and he's like a completely different dog. Thank you so much!

Nancy was awesome. Patient and understanding for a frustrated pet parent like me. And cannot recommend highlyenough for the pack walk. Great way to practice all the learned techniques. Thanks!
