From start to finish, tip to tail, the staff here are incredible. From the moment you step foot in the door and into the waiting room, you’re welcomed with open arms and feel like family. Dr Lawless and Chery were incredible with my big boy Mack when he came in for his checkup after having suffered a major and severe asthma attack over the weekend. They managed to get me in right away to have him seen and see how he was doing following his emergency room visit. Working with the notes of the emergency vets they were able to quickly and effectively put us both at ease and come up with a treatment plan catered to him and his unique needs. Cannot suggest this clinic enough and so grateful to have them by my side in caring for my critters. Thanks isn’t enough for all that they’ve done and continue to do for me and my furry compadres. Love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart and Mack’s for always delivering your best!
We’re regulars at Are You a Dirty Dog and they never disappoint! Our two pups, Phoenix and Sophie, always come home looking fantastic — the cuts are exactly what we ask for and you can tell real care goes into the details every time. The staff are so friendly and clearly love animals; both dogs are comfortable and happy from drop-off to pick-up. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a groomer who treats your dog like family. We’ll keep coming back!

Friendly staff always greeted with a smile. Go through history at each visit, listen to any concerns, dont rush you. Dr. Paine puts my dog at ease, is gentle, and kind. She will recommend treatments but lets you decide doesnt push you. Will give you estimates and ask permission before performing anything.

Dr. Jaimie Lawless is always compassionate, friendly and knowledgeable. I feel good taking my 2 cats to her for care. Willow had her yearly visit and everything went smoothly. Was recommended a probiotic for her stomach issues and tests were done quickly and results emailed within 2 days.
My family and I have been taking our pets to Cataraqui Pet Hospital since I was a child, and I can honestly say nothing bad about this clinic. The team here (all incredibly talented women now by the way, girl power for the win) are compassionate, kind, patient, understanding, organized, and they ALWAYS prioritize what is best for your pets health. I have never felt pressured to complete diagnostics, treatments, or diets that my veterinarian team did not deem absolutely necessary for my animals. I have never felt swayed into spending more for their care because they wanted to make a profit. I am so grateful for the outstanding care & service they have offered me for 20+ years now. I love this place & this team! If I could give a million stars, I would. ❤️
Rogan’s annual wellness visit couldn’t have gone better! Dr. Paine was amazing with him as always, and put my mind at ease with her comprehensive answers to my questions regarding Rogan’s health. The staff at the front desk were wonderful as well! I’m very grateful for the all around fantastic service.
