Amazing experience — truly caring and helpful team!
I can’t say enough good things about Nature (1500 Avenue Atwater, Niveau Mezzanine, Montréal).
This store sold me my favorite bird, and I absolutely love them. From day one, the staff were kind, patient, and genuinely helpful — they clearly care about the animals and about their customers.
What made me even happier is that yesterday they helped me find a mate for my bird, and it meant so much to me. They took the time to guide me, answer my questions, and make sure everything felt right. I left the store feeling excited, relieved, and honestly just so happy.
If you’re looking for a place where people actually listen, help you properly, and treat you with respect, I 100% recommend Nature. Thank you for everything! 🐦💛

Very disappointed with the customer service. The cashier with blue hair and facial piercings was rude and seemed annoyed the entire time. Unfortunately, this has happened more than once. I understand everyone has bad days, but consistently poor attitude toward customers is unacceptable. I won’t be returning.
I saw a woman touching a bird and pushing it away when it tried to nibble her fingers. That shouldn’t even be happening. Animals shouldn’t be handled by just anyone like that.
I also saw a bird alone in a tiny cage, pacing left and right in a loop. That’s a clear sign of stress.
The betta fish were kept in extremely small containers. The water looked dirty, there was no vegetation at all, and some of them had damaged fins.
There were also birds kept in rodent cages, with running wheels inside, and the cages were very small, even though there were 7 or 8 birds in one cage.
The workers didn’t say anything. They were too busy talking to each other, even while a woman was touching a bird right in front of them.

This is a great gem of a pet shop with a good selection of animals to adopt and products for them. Staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from - we had a very pleasant, positive experience and will definitely be coming back. Come see for yourself!

Staff is nice and I've bought a few things from here that were great. I did buy nerite snails and noticed one of them was dead (I'm not sure it was ever alive) so that kinda sucked. But otherwise, I like their selection of products and animals. Also, make sure to thoroughly wash your plants, because I did get unwanted snails in my aquarium even though I washed the plants. Here's a picture of a Betta I bought from this store.
