We have an 8.5 year old rottie named Dino, who was diagnosed earlier this year with osteosarcoma and had a front-limb amputation. Swimming has always been his favourite activity and we are SO happy that we found Frisky Pup so he can keep doing what he loves!
Kira is knowledgeable, patient, and so thoughtful when it comes to all of his special needs as a tripod dog. She takes the time to make sure he feels safe and supported, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. P
The hydrotherapy has made a noticeable difference in his strength, mobility, and confidence since surgery. If we could bring him every day, we would.
Worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Kira is so amazing. My Aussie Bulladore is post MPL and TPLO, and has also never stepped foot in water and will even avoid a puddle. Kira was able to coax him in, and to understand his boundaries and make it a really positive experience for him. My dog is also extremely anxious and reactive, however she was confident and patient with him. I highly recommend Kira. She’s experienced and super reasonable.

My miniature dachshund suffers from IVDD and ever since going to Kira for hydrotherapy, she's back to walking! She's still wobbly but before this she was NOT walking at all.
It has been a blessing. Kira is so knowledgeable and I'm able to learn something new about my girl. She also offered to take my 2nd girl as well to try!
I love that she goes into the water with her and keeps her safe.

Kira provided excellent swim therapy to my senior dogs, that helped strengthen them and improve how they felt and moved
And she taught two of my dogs to swim, making them confident and enthusiastic water dogs!
I can't recommend Kira and frisky pup highly enough.
I have been going to Frisky since spring of 2002. I started with my one senior pooch who was having ACL issues and he has been doing amazing since he started swimming, knee issues are few and far between. I have my other now in for his arthritic hips, and my third is in for the LOVE of swimming! I have also referred multiple people who also see huge differences in their dogs mobilities. We have used both the pool and the treadmill. Both Carly and Kira are very attentive and put the dogs first! None of my dogs have ever swam or been in a pool before, and now they happily enjoy and can even rock a few laps without their lifejackets. Highly recommend checking them out for your pooches, whether for therapy, to learn to swim or just fun to swim!

I recently started taking my 8 yr old dog here that had emergency surgery on her spine 4 weeks ago due to a ruptured disc that went up into her spinal cord. She has only been 3 times so far and she is already trying to use her right leg more and more! We’re hoping the more she goes, her left leg will soon start to move too! Definitely happy with the progress she has made so far and excited to continue to take her to help with her recovery!
