I am very disappointed in my dog’s most recent grooming appointment here. We have been loyal customers for years, bringing both of my family dogs here for grooming. In the past, we have never had issues, the quality of service and grooming have always been impeccable. However, after our latest appointment, I am very disappointed and will not be bringing my dog back here again.
His cut was not at all what I had requested, and on top of that it was very poorly done. He has uneven patches with tufts of fur sticking out all over his body and blunt clipper marks in the fur around his face.
I made several attempts to contact the salon to resolve this issue privately, however they did not return my phone call, nor did they respond to my email. It’s a shame to see this business take a turn downhill so quickly, but their recent increase in staff and volume of dogs they groom at a time is clearly too much for them to handle. I am not impressed.
*in response to the reply*- Peanut Butter is not a senior dog, he is 6 years old and has never been booked for a “comfort” groom. In the past, when you only had 2-3 people working and a small number of dogs in the salon at a time, his grooming was great, so don’t blame my dog for your decline in quality of service.

We have a hunting breed that requires a certain cut or its a problem in the field and hours of effort removing things from the body at home. First haircut wasn't great and honestly that was my fault for not explaining what I wanted well. Second cut, they did a better job but still wasn't short enough. It wasnt hunting season so not a big deal. Third time was hunting season, they did a perfect job, 10/10 because I was extremely explicit on what he needed. (first photo,)
Today i dropped him off, hasnt had a cut since last September, its very long. I said same as last time please, i believe there's detailed notes on file. She said sounds good yep, same as last time. I pick him up and i think just tummy , legs, bum and feet were clipped (photos 2-4). Again must have been a communication issue.... Notes being wrong i guess but how?
Hes washed, hes happy enough, the girls seem lovely but im going to have to do some trimming myself on the ears and tail and probably get another cut done in a month for the rest of him.
Unfortunately next time we will be trying somewhere else.
(in response to the owner: Dana, your website states KENNEL CLIP/SHAVE, which is what we booked with verbal instructions on drop off. If you cannot provide this service to my breed of dog, you shouldnt have accepted the job or payment.)

picked up my cat (Dorado) who they were housing via AARCS here about 2 months ago - all is well with the cat and we’re very happy with him & love him to pieces.
When I picked him up they mentioned his nails had already been trimmed, they weren’t and it was very painful for my cat for a few days until I could get them trimmed elsewhere, which we did. However recently I did come here to get them trimmed thinking “they’re a groomer in a nicer neighbourhood, I’m sure they’re great! Maybe they’ll remember him” They weren’t.
The person at the counter barely acknowledged me or my cat, they let whoever in the back know we have a nail trim without making eye contact with me. I waited patiently as I was early, so I moved out of the way for other people. I know they’re busy so it was very loud, people talking, dogs barking, etc. I’m trying to keep my cat calm. A woman comes out, doesn’t say hello to me or my cat, doesn’t make eye contact or even say anything at all to me, took the carrier from me pretty roughly, put it up on a random side table without looking at me, as she was loudly talking to the man who came in prior over my shoulder, distracted. She throws the door open, grabs my cat and puts him on the table which he nearly falls off of and nobody acknowledges it but myself, she starts grabbing at his paws, again not even making eye contact with me or trying to calm my cat who is panicking at this point, very rough with him, his paws, still talking to the man behind me.
At this point I’m fuming but I doubt anyone would’ve listen to me in the first place, when it was time to pay I just stood there with my terrified cat, nobody acknowledging that I’m even there, or willing to give this place the money owed, I probably could’ve walked out without a glance. I paid, said thank you and tried to be friendly with the person at the counter, but again, zero customer service or a smile at all.
Needless to say I’m never going back. What terrible service for paying customers, especially the first time appointment.
I understand the cheap price point is attractive, but I guess you get what you pay for.
It’s really unfortunate as my partner and I visit all the time to see the cats and we enjoy the rest of the strip mall nearly every weekend for almost ten years…I expected great service as I’ve seen a lot of great reviews, but I guess they only give good service to higher paying customers.
Not looking for resolve from this business, but please be weary. Even though it’s close by and convenient, not enough to warrant considering their service, communication, or lack of.
March 2024 - this was the first visit we had after a recommendation from a co-worker. Our little guy has very dense long fur and regularly needs a shave, in his 9 years of life and many many shaves I am sooo happy with how this cut turned out. I don’t know if there is a separate room where cats get groomed, from what I could see there wasn’t and that’s the only reason I can’t do 5 stars. All in all though, I will be coming back super happy with the service we received.
Went here for the first time and was really impressed. They did a great job with my St Bernard cross. He had a winter’s worth of matted undercoat, and they cleaned him right up for a surprisingly good price. The staff was professional and didn’t judge me for letting him go too long since his last grooming. Will definitely be back.
Very reasonably priced for pet grooming and this is a place you don’t lose out on quality for a good price. I have a very timid long haired cat I take in for full shaves every 6 months and they were great. She needs a second person to hold her/calm her and they make it work with no complaints or upcharges- and a nail trim is included with a full shave! My only issue with this place at all is that you have to book very far in advance, at least 3 weeks ahead in my experience, but that means it is a popular place! And they did a great job.
