I adopted a kitten from this store and upon taking the kitty to the vet, was told that I should "bring him back immediately" because not only did he have respiratory problems, but he also had a severe overbite as well as worms. Of course, Perry's never told us any of these things when we were looking at the kitty. I even flat out asked if he had any issues, and we were told he was fine and vaccinated. What "doctor" would give this cat a clean bill of health, I'll never know! When asked where the kitty came from, we received different answers from different staff members (one even lied outright to our face.) Of course we kept the kitty, but we have paid a giant vet fee for all the procedures he has needed to correct his problems. The conditions the dogs and cats live in are filthy - no wonder they are all sick! It's hard to get any help from the staff members, and when you do many of them do not seem very knowledgeable about the animals and are iffy about their backgrounds. We were told this location wasn't able to sell dogs and cats anymore, but it seems like they are still in business today... strange. The only pro about this place is that they do have a good variety of food/animal supplies... but I definitely wouldn't purchase another dog/cat from here again.
