⚠️I recently visited this pet store and noticed several small-animal products with expired “Best before” dates, some from 2024 and others from 2025. When I pointed this out to the owner, he denied it and said they were manufacturing dates, which is clearly incorrect. For example, I bought a “Mineral Bloc for Hamsters” that expires in 2027, and he claimed that was a manufacturing date too, which does not make sense. I recommend that customers carefully check expiration dates before purchasing any pet products or food. My goal is not to harm the store, but to protect the animals, as expired products can pose a real risk to their health.⚠️

This place is for the birds! I don't know people actually understand that comment... Please be respectful and polite when visiting this store! 🤗🙏🏻 Remember that fishes and birdies and all kinds of animals deserve compassion and friendship! Maybe they are friends with each other but like you also! 🤷 Please do not hesitate to buy some bird feed for the birds, or consider buying yourself a bird or some fish, a turtle or a friend to brighten up your life!🥰 I did not see any unicorns when I was in the store, and I would remind people that if you purchase a pet please remember they can stink and misbehave! Meaning be nice to your animals because people sometimes focus on negatives instead of positives, like the joy a little creature can bring into your life! It's nice to be able to have experiences with guinea pigs or gerbils or certain things from bunny rabbits or lovebirds or anything you can share your life with. Please hit like on this review, be nice to your doggies and your kitties and also to other people plus the environment and things. I encourage creationism! Have a lovely day please try not to be destructive, also that this area of this flea market tends to be filled with garbage. Be responsible with garbage!🙏🏻

First time going today to get bird food from this location. It is a very clean store with many different types of birds, fish, and many more. All the animals seem in good shape and lots of room to play. As a reviewer of Google map, what I do not understand is why some people complained about the conditions of the birds. I have seen all the birds with my own eyes. Some are very young while others are grown. They all seemed well fed and happy. I believe I have spoken to the owner or an employee today, he was very knowledgeable about my type of bird. He gave many suggestions which I was not aware of before. I definitely recommend this place.

Came in to look for fish. Was very disappointed. The owner didn’t want to answer any questions. Very rude in fact. Everyone was kicked out at 5pm even though the google listing says it closed at 6pm. So warning he closes at 5pm and will not catch me my fish because “pet section close at 5pm so everyone must leave”. The pet are kept inhumane. Made me want to save them all. But also did not want to support a store like this. Now thinking back. I am glad I was kicked out.

Had a really bad experience last time I came in. Wanted to ask questions and possibly buy a bird. I think they hired some old man who just hates his life. They used to have a girl before who was super nice and knowledgeable. You could tell how much she loved pets but this guy was just grumpy and dint wanna even have a proper conversation. I tried twice and then decided to just leave.

I had a great experience at Pet O Pets in Mississauga! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for our fish to thrive. We purchased two tanks, seven fish, two plants, fish food, and all the other essentials. They patiently guided us through the process and answered all our questions. Highly recommend this place for anyone starting out or looking to expand their aquarium setup!

We had an awesome experience at the Mississauga location when purchasing a sweet little baby parrot. The seller had awesome customer service skills, he went over each and everything with us prior to taking the parrot home. He gave us a ton of advice as we were becoming first time pet owners. He didn’t only help us choose the right parrot for our family but he also assisted in choosing the correct accessories and food for the parrot. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase birds, fish, cats and much more ! They have a ton of variety to choose from.

Raza is very professional. We bought fishes first time and he explained us everything really well related to setup and afterwards. Very happy to have found this place.

Horrible place. animals are mistreated and badly cared for. rotting bettas in cups, sick animals and dirty tanks all over. I saw them selling land snails ...

The family member surrendered the birds to PET O PET 3092 Mavis Rd, Mississauga, ON L5C 1T8 without permission or knowledge to the owner.
