I would highly recommend Alex for your pets. I was travelling over the holidays while an incident had happened, and my little man had split his toenail. I tried to take him to Petsmart with no avail. They explained to me that they could not cut his nails because he did not have his rabies vaccination papers with him at the time. Unfortunately, my vet was closed and I couldn’t obtain these papers. They were of no help Alex at pet value was more than accommodating and did not require any papers to cut his nails. She was a lifesaver while we were traveling. She has empathy and compassion and took the time to fit my guy in to make sure that we had an enjoyable Christmas. He healed amazingly I will definitely be bringing my business to her the next time we are in the Kingston area of travelling.
I went here last Wednesday night when I had a minor health concern with my cat. The young girl who was working was incredibly unhelpful. I had a cat that was constipated, and was looking for some safe products to help her before it became a medical emergency. I had to go up to the counter to ask for help when I was the only customer in the store. The girl working was absolutely clueless, and at first just said no they didn't have anything, and then mentioned the only thing they had was pumpkin puree. When I asked where it was, and if she could show it to me, she stayed behind the counter, and just pointed halfway across the store. When I couldn't tell where she was pointing, she still wouldn't leave from behind the counter, and just stood there pointing. In all honesty it felt like she didn't want to be there, or help me. She also didn't seem to have any knowledge about animal care, or any product knowledge to offer. After visiting here, I literally went across the street to Global Pet Foods where I had a great experience, and had someone actually help me. They were able to recommend hairball gel, and warned me that pumpkin can do more harm than good in this situation. I will never be shopping here again, and will actively recommend people NOT to come here. This was just poor service all around, and could have potentially made the issue worse.

What's 9 + 3101 staff member that seemed to have a personal issue with me for what seemed to be no apparent reason.
Other than that one person that has caused a few incidences that were completely unprofessional and very unnecessary. I enjoy this location very much comedy offer a vast amount of things from cats and dogs, birds. I'm not sure about reptiles. It's just a great location and amazing Atmosphere

The service provided is excellent, demonstrating great professionalism. The attention paid to customers is palpable, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The team is always quick to offer assistance, which is greatly appreciated. Assistance in carrying heavier items to the car is always provided. This assistance is invaluable and demonstrates a genuine concern for customer comfort.
