Maryna at PetSmart is absolutely amazing! She is the sweetest and so caring with Winston, our standard Goldendoodle. She did a fantastic job grooming him, and he looked so handsome and well taken care of after his appointment. You can really tell she cares about the pets she works with. The whole team was also so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend Maryna and the PetSmart grooming team!

I’m extremely upset with my experience at the PetSmart Blanchard location and feel obligated to warn other pet owners. I have a 10-month-old French Bulldog who’s been groomed every 4–6 weeks since he was a puppy. At the Langford location, he’s always been calm, well behaved, and loved by the staff. We’ve never had a single issue. Since moving downtown, I started bringing him to Blanchard. On his first visit, they cut his back toenail “pretty severely,” causing bleeding. While accidents can happen, this was already concerning given his calm history. Today was much worse. He was clearly anxious, likely from the last visit, and two groomers had to restrain him. I stepped out, and shortly after, another customer came to find me to say my dog was bleeding badly and staff had taken him to the back so I couldn’t see what happened. When I went back, he had been cut again, this time severely, with a shocking amount of blood. One staff member even described it as “a bit of a bloody massacre” and suggested I sedate him next time. She also said “it’s a frenchie thing.” This is unacceptable. He has never needed sedation and has always done perfect with other groomers. Despite injuring my dog twice at this location, I was still charged. There was no accountability, no proper apology, and no concern for the trauma this has caused him. He is now clearly fearful of nail trims. I will never return. Pet owners should be very cautious bringing their dogs here!

I have enjoyed my experience with specific cashiers & people in pet care. I have shockingly gotten some decent quality tetras, frogs, and some starter plants. However the water quality is never good. I tested the water parameters with my API Masterkit (not expired, doesn’t till December 2030) when purchasing a Beta recently, the ammonia was dark green and there were high nitrate levels. The fish in the cups did not look super happy, thankfully my little guy is doing much better in my tank with perfect water parameters after a careful drip acclimation and Seachem Cattap leaves added. There’s never someone there when I want to get plants, which sucks. But shoutout to the lady with the bright bleach blond hair who is passionate about Betta care! You often work evenings and have been so nice getting knowledge from.

I placed an order online. When I went to pick it up there were 2 people at the cash. There was I line up of 8 people. I was told to wait in the back of the line. People order online for the convenience and to save time. This is not logical. The attitude of the cashiers (2) was very poor. It was the worst service I have received.

Very tiny PetSmart. Minimal livestock & supplies, but lots of cat and dog food choices and was very clean! Cashier was efficient and kind. Overall not a bad experience at all - I just expect more from a PetSmart stock wise. Will return for basic stuff and was happy with my purchases.

We bring two of our (very large) dogs to the Petsmart grooming team at Blanshard and they do an AMAZING job! Our female is quite timid and they are so patient and gentle with her. They both look fantastic every time :) 10/10 would recommend!

Great selection and friendly staff. Tried their online order for the first time. Most items arrived except one of the liquid product was leaked during shipping, ruined multiple items. Called the customer service center and it was quickly taken cared.

I desperately needed to get my fluff ball in for a haircut, so I took my 15.5 yr old dog Milo in for grooming, I also purchased a Luxury package for extra pampering. I dropped him off, the groomer, I think her name was Jessica, asked if there were anything she should be aware of with him. I gave her my dog's dislikes and likes and asked her to let me know if she has any problems. When I came in to pick up Milo, he was so happy! His tail was wagging and he looked fantastic! The groomer did an excellent job. She informed me that Milo was very good and she had no problems. This was my first time there and I will definatley be back! Amazing customer service and amazing job to all the staff!
