Went in there cause the kids asked so many time to go in and came out with a tank and a promise to buy fishes. There were lot of pet stuff, food, toys, habitat, accessories and the kids were amazed to see the different pets available for sale. They were pointing at all the amazing color fishes they had. Tropical and beta fishes were available. The staff help us decide which options was best and we went with a 10 gallon tank for tropical fish. Overall, the kids enjoyed walking and see so many animals and now finally get to own a pet.
On a day when I felt so overwhelmed about needing to get new food for my cats, Laura was abundantly helpful. She was a wealth of knowledge and the sympathy providing really helped me keep it together, especially when I felt like I just couldn't get it right. It's daunting to know there's so many pet food brands. Laura asked questions to figure out the situation and was able to speak from experience. I am so grateful for her approaching me in the store today!
I have a dose of optimism that the royal canin digestive food will help my kittens with their tummy trouble .

I would mark “0” star if I have the choice. Here is the story: I went to PetSmart in Saskatoon (east side), tried to get 2 small gold fish for my friend. The employee refused to sell a single one to me, because I only have a 10 gallon tank at home-as she specified, she can only sell a gold fish to a customer who has a minimum 30 gallon fish tank, and if I want to buy 2 fish, I need a minimum 40 gallon tank. I did search when came back, yes, AI told me she was kind of right, except 20 gallon is the minimum size, instead of 30 gallons. But, look at the size of the tank in the store-a ~5 gallon tank holding dozens of gold fish ! 2 fish already died in the tank because of being too crowded? Also, my friend bought a 10 gallon tank from this store and the employee gave her 2 free gold fish for this 10G tank! It seems the store is using double standards in terms of the size of fish tanks. When the employee trying to show her caring to the pet fish by refusing to sell fish to a customer who doesn’t have right sized tank, she forgot that the store makes dozens of gold fish living stressfully in such confined container. I bought 2 gold fish in Pet Land afterwards, their employee suggested me to upsize the tank when they grow bigger—in a friendly and professional way! And the more importantly: the fish tanks in Pet Land are much bigger, and there are much less fish in each tank! I asked the employee in PetSmart what if I lied that I had a 30 gallon fish tank? She said: ‘then I will sell to you”. LOL.
Beautiful lady with the short purple coloured hair who is the head of the fish department told us to buy a specific tank for tetra fish, so we did. Time passes and we come back to buy the fish and she tells us we can’t put those fish in the tank SHE HERSELF advised us to buy for them. Then she tells us “I would’ve never said that” but me and my family members specifically remember this lady because she made a very rude impression the first encounter, wasn’t any better the second.
If the person who is head of the fish department can’t even remember what they’re telling customers to do, why should they be working as head of the department? Very weird and concerning for the fish and any customers who have genuine questions about these pets we are about the purchase

Eunice P is one of the best. My pet had severe depression and anxiety after his last trim and we were very scared to take him for another trim and bath. This time we booked with Eunice and explained the situation to her. When we picked up our pet, not only did he have the best haircut, he was completely calm and relaxed, unlike last time. I am so grateful to Eunice and appreciate her efforts.
