They don’t even deserve a single Star!! I’m writing this review after a truly awful experience at this PetSmart grooming salon. I dropped off my baby Shih Tzu on November 2nd 2025 for a simple grooming appointment, and within just 20 minutes, I got a call saying they were taking him to the animal hospital because he was bleeding from his ear. I received a call saying that Sarah accidentally cut a sensitive part of his ear. Honestly, this doesn’t surprise me she was trying to remove fur from dry hair instead of washing him first, just because she thinks drying takes too long! When I arrived, I found my poor dog terrified and in pain. The vet confirmed he will be okay thankfully, it wasn’t life-threatening, but it was still extremely traumatic. What shocked me even more was the unprofessional and heartless behaviour of the staff. The groomer, Sarah, never apologized or showed any remorse. Instead, she was rude and dismissive, telling me to “talk to the manager.” Two other clients who witnessed this were so uncomfortable that they left the store. The store manager, Julian, also handled the situation horribly. He didn’t apologize or show any concern. When I tried to calmly share my experience with other customers, he told me to leave because it might “affect their business.” They even handed my dog back half-groomed, still shaking and hurt. It’s now been two days since this happened, and I haven’t received any call or email from the general manager to check on my dog or offer any kind of resolution. This experience has left me heartbroken. I ignored previous bad reviews thinking I’d give this location a chance but that was a huge mistake.To make things worse, the hygiene levels in the grooming salon were shocking dirty floors, unclean stations, and overall poor maintenance. Please, do not take your pets to this PetSmart location. The staff is careless, unprofessional, and completely lacks compassion. Our pets deserve to be treated with love and respect, not fear and pain.
