We left the city for the Holidays and left our two cats in the care of Purrfect Neighbour. We were really happy with the service. One of our cats needs medications regularly and despite being in the Holidays, Steve was always there around the same time to create a routine for the cats. We could see that he loves animals and his job when we met to have everything ready before leaving.

Last summer my wife and I adopted two kittens (male litter-mates) and they absolutely stole our hearts. They were so affectionate and loving with both of us and with each other. We had been planning a fall trip but ended up cancelling, in part because we were just too anxious to leave them at home. We'd used pet sitting services previously but our former sitter had moved out of Winnipeg and was no longer providing service to our region of the city. In January we decided on a 7 day trip to Mexico and needed to find a new pet-sitter. After reading several reviews and recommendations, we decided to go with Purrfect Neighbour. We met with Stephen prior to our trip and he really set our anxiety at ease. He asked all the right questions and took an immediate interest in "our boys", asking about their personalities and whether they had favourite toys (which they do). After the visit, my wife and I remarked, "I think we found the right guy." We were right. During our trip, we received daily updates with plenty of photos and videos. (He's a great pet photographer, btw). His photos assured that litters had been cleaned and food/water bowls filled, but also contained videos of our boys at play, getting lots of exercise and attention while he was there. His daily updates may have been the highlight of our trip. We returned home to find our boys and our home had been well taken care of while we were away. Consequently, we have way less anxiety about planning more trips in the future. Stephen is our new "go-to" for pet sitting and we can't recommend this service highly enough. This is the second time we have used Purrfect Neighbour and they have done a great job. Our three cats take multiple medications and are fussy eaters and it wasn't a problem. They got lots of play and affection and I didnt have to worry about them getting super stressed. Will use again!

Purrfect Neighbour was exactly the pet-sitting service we needed during our recent vacation. Stephen from Purrfect Neighbour met our senior cat and we instantly felt comfortable with his calm and knowledgeable approach. He asked great questions to learn about our cat's needs and what we wanted/expected in a pet sitter. As this was our first time having someone other than family look after our cat, we opted for daily check-ins while we were away. Stephen provided detailed reports and videos. We were very pleased with how happy and relaxed our cat seemed. This was confirmed when we returned to a very calm and clearly well-cared-for animal. We will definitely use Purrfect Neighbour again and highly recommend them.

We have always taken the cats to a boarding kennel we have travelled, but we have found as they get older they aren't so keen to leave the house. When we were planning for this winter's holiday, I started looking at options for pet sitting. After looking at the services provided by several different companies, I settled on Purrfect Neighbour because the visit plans they offered matched what we wanted. I spoke to Stephen first by phone, and then met him in person when he came over to pick up the keys. We were comfortable with him and his approach to our cats right from the start. He took an immediate interest in both of them and we knew that they would be in good hands while we were away. Stephen visited every 2nd day while we were gone, and we came to look forward to the detailed and enthusiastic emails and pictures he sent from his visits. He was diligent and reliable in dealing with feed, water, and cleaning the litter boxes, and he also enjoyed playing with them and giving them some much-needed attention while we were gone. We were very impressed with Stephen and the service he provided, and we will definitely use him again. Highly recommend if you are looking for a compassionate and reliable petsitter for your next vacation.

I highly recommend Purrfect Neighbour and their pet-sitting services. Steve was very meticulous in ensuring our pets' needs were met. He followed our instructions to a T and provided thorough updates every visit. He was also very accommodating with scheduling and resolving unexpected issues that cropped up. It gave us a lot of reassurance that our pets were taken care of while I was away from home.

Steve is an absolute angel. I love traveling but I have a LOT of anxiety about leaving my cats and knowing that someone very reliable, who cherishes them as much as we do, is looking after them makes it much easier. Hearing about their day and seeing photos of them helps keep us connected no matter where we are in the world. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend! If you need a pet sitter, I can guarantee you won't find anyone better than Steve.
