Best place ever to board. Staff are really great and in tune with the puppers. Even if I have not used them in months they remember the dogs. And when I had to rehome one of my dogs to a friend across country they remembered her and asked about her. I have a malamute husky that loves this place so much that I don’t need to come with a leash. She knows where the fun is and runs right inside to play with friends. Whenever friends talk about boarding I always suggest thousand islands.

This is the third time we’ve used Thousand Island Dog Resort for boarding. We are very comfortable leaving our Molly there has she’s very well taken care of, and loves the daily exercise. The photos bring peace of mind while we are away too!

Our large puppy is a new client and is loving her days at 1000 Islands Dog Resort. She is eager to get out of the car when we arrive and comes home happy and tired from running the field. It is nice to have the option of a country-like doggy daycare/boarding facility so conveniently located.

For years we've been sending our dog here every time we go away. It truly is a resort for her. She loves it, and I love looking at the pictures posted to Facebook of her running and playing with the other dogs. I trust them to always take great care of her and have never had any issues. Highly recommend!

My most heartfelt thanks to you David and your staff. My dog came weekly for runs with the pack and vacations when I was away. She would wiggle with excitement as we turned onto your road and was happy happy happy when I released her from the back seat as you held the kennel door for her. It was a gift to me to have your resort to bring her to. I love the way you are with the dogs and that they come first. Please also pass along my thanks to your Dad who shared much training wisdom with me and she was a better dog for his advice. If there is a doggy heaven, I hope there is a Sly resort there! Thank you...Sue

Owner is very nice and property is close to Kingston and Gan, close to Abby Dawn on Hwy 2. Mable always has a great time and we all know she's safe and taken care of with fresh air and attention.

Always great care for my two dogs, they are kind and take great care for the dogs. The kennel is clean, with heat/ac, and each kennel inside is very large. The yard is absolutely awesome and has a small pond for the dogs to swim in. As a bonus they often take pictures of the dogs, which is great. Don't mind the one star rating, this has NOTHING to do with the kennel, but a personal comment one of the persons who used to run the place and doesn't anymore, and is completely unrelated to the great service provided here. The business here doesn't deserve the slander.
