I have been religiously walking my golden puppy around the neighborhood for about a year now, and at times I have seen dogs left unattended in the vans on the side of the road. I have since realized that the windows are tinted. In the early mornings and afternoons these dogs are constantly barking, which I was woken up to on New Years, because the noise echoes throughout the entire neighborhood across the street which unfortunately I don't think they realize.
I have a tripod rescue ten month old puppy who has a lot of energy, loves all dogs, but was afraid of riding in cars and wary of strangers. Within two weeks (2 visits a week) he was as excited to see the shuttle van and the staff members as he was the dogs. He comes home exhausted and happy - which is all I really care about. Uberdog Hotel Midtown treats my dog like he is their own, and that is a relief to me. The staff is courteous and friendly, but extremely busy - I respect that. 5 stars all the way!
My dog really enjoys herself at Uberdog Hotel midtown. She is so excited to be there she takes off with the attendant and doesn’t look back. Super cute, happy she loves it so much. The only negative is that she comes home super thirsty, like she hasn’t had enough to drink. They assure me there are several water stations to choose from. It could be a quirk of my dog that she is so happy playing she doesn’t stop for water. She comes home happy and exhausted.

A few months ago I sent an application at Uberdog for my 2 dogs. Initially I talked on the phone with a very nice girl who told me they received the application and wanted to schedule a first complimentary dog daycare visit to evaluate my dogs. I brought them in the morning and went back in the afternoon to pick them up. Once arrived, a girl, who seemed to be quite in a rush, answered the door and I told her I was there to pick up my dogs. She was completely unpolite, closed to door in my face and then came back asking me to wait outside, and also said she could not let me enter the building, no other explanations. All the time, while I was waiting she was coming back and forth, bringing some dogs to an uberdog car, and didn't even stare at me or gave me any information. After about 30 minutes another girl came back with my dogs, also in a rush, gave them back at me and said everything was fine and I could book daycare if I wanted to. She did not even gave me any feedback about how the dogs did. When I asked if it was possible for me to see the facilities she said it was no possible at the moment and left.
I left the place with an unpleasant feeling in regards to the customer service, not feeling like the place could be safe enough for my dogs and decided not to bring them to Uberdog again. I think they should definitely rethink their customer service and how to make good first impressions to new costumers. I understand sometimes there could be issues with timing and rushing but this cannot be an excuse to be rude to the costumers.

Both my dogs were boarding at uberdog in March. It was nightmare situation. Allegedly according to staff, they broke a window screen and jumped from the reception room window. Highly unlikely!
One of my dog’s spooked and dodged traffic for 12 hours running as far out to Don Mills and Lawrence. We are so lucky this little guy is alive today. He was spotted at various locations, thankfully the community helped us locate him. Meanwhile, my other dog has not gotten back in our car since being picked up from the Uberdog location after the incident. It was awfully traumatic for us all.
