An Uberdog driver parked on the sidewalk on Macpherson Ave this morning during rush hour, completely blocking pedestrian access. When I asked if she could make room so I could pass with my three young children (ages 9, 4, and 2), her response was "I'm picking up a dog" — she then locked the van and walked off, forcing us onto the road into oncoming traffic. Couriers and delivery trucks manage to leave room on the sidewalk every day. Uberdog's drivers should be held to the same standard. Disappointing service and a real safety issue for families in the neighbourhood.

So far my experiences are limited, but they've been pretty great! I did a walk-in nail trim which was super easy (and they were really nice about saying how good my dog is, even though I know he's sassy lol), and have booked a full groom first online, then I had to call because I double-booked myself and they were so helpful and friendly when fixing my error. Updated Apr 2022, have brought my pooch here for 2 full grooms and no complaints. The staff is super sweet and clearly love dogs, the groomer is incredibly patient with my little monster, and he always looks great.

Angelica is truly the best dog groomer I've ever come across. Her professionalism and attention to detail make my furry friend look absolutely adorable and beautiful. Throughout the grooming process, she sends me a few photos, keeping me updated and assured. Coby, my dog, always receives numerous compliments every time he leaves Angelica's care. I highly recommend Uberdog Mount Pleasant @ Angelica for top-notch grooming services.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They did not clean between his paws. They did not clean between his folds by his nose (he is a Frenchie). Amateur rush job. They did not brush his teeth. And the receptionist guy who messed up my appointment and everything else seems to have a communication barrier of some sort told me that it is because the dog was walking around since he’s been groomed: like I don’t know the difference. And the same receptionist called this morning to tell me I missed my appointment at 9 o’clock when I specifically had a long conversation with him about it being for 9:45 AM. Like is he okay? This receptionist guy was not paying attention at all. There are too many dog groomers around for them to be mediocre at this.

This place used to be very good, but it has changes drastically in the last months. I had a really bad experience in the last 3 times with my little Yorkie, which is the easiest dog ever to groom. The hair/fur was not aligned, some spots were not cut properly, I had asked for one specific hair cut and my dog received something completely different, not mentioning the front desk not being ready to receive payment because the machine was not set properly. Resuming the review, cost X benefit NOT WORTH it at all. Such a shame, because they just lost another client, and apparently, they don't care either.

The worst pet grooming place. I booked my first appointment for my two dogs Kobe and Mocha I clearly asked the receptionist if I need to bring them one at a time or two groomers will do the grooming so they’ll be done at the same time her response was don’t worry it will be two groomers. She then told me they’ll be done in about 2-3 hrs. About 5 hours later I called to ask them if they’re done so I could pickup she mentioned that there’s only one groomer working on both of them so it will take a few more hours!! 8 hours later she called me telling me they’re both ready to be picked up when I got there I saw both of them shaved almost to their skin but that’s not what I asked them to do she then replied they were both matted so we had to shave their hair too short. I brush my dogs regularly. I believed they were overbooked on that day so they decided to shave them. Nobody had apologized even once. Keeping my dogs there for 8hour is animal torture once we left the store both of them started doing their potty right on sidewalk I’ve never seen them urinate like that before because there were kept there for 8hrs. They had diarrhea for almost two days straight it was caused either by the cheap dog treats they were fed during their grooming or their tools wasn’t sanitized and disinfected. BTW I’m leaving this review after almost 9 months. Stay away from this place if you really care for your furry friend.

My labradoodle and I have had consistent positive experiences at this location. My dog doesn’t really love it when he is left somewhere, so it does take some love to get him to go but the staff there are so sweet! They pick him up like a baby and that makes him totally happy and he always comes home smelling fresh and looking amazing! And he is always happy when we come back to get him! I absolutely love how they take the time to listen to how you want your pet groomed, honour your wishes, no surprises and never any complaints. They provide such a positive experience we will come back again and again! And the prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. I have been charged more for very negative experiences elsewhere. 11/10 experience. Do not hesitate to bring your pets here.

This was our first time going to Uberdog and I would not recommend it for anyone with a long-haired, double-coated dog. I took my rough collie in for a bath, brush, and tidy, and was told he would be ready in a few hours; he was there for 8 hours. Before leaving him, the groomer confirmed what I wanted done. I confirmed that I did not want him shaved and didn't want his hair trimmed too short, as a previous groomer had given him a husky cut which was unflattering. After 8 hours, I picked him up and nothing had been trimmed except his paws. Additionally, they shaved part of his belly and left him with razor burns. On top of that, I was not told until the end of the appointment that the starting price point for rough collies was $180, not $110 as it stated on their website. By the end of the appointment, I ended up paying close to $300 for a result I was very unhappy with. I will probably have to take him to another groomer to finish his trim. Again, I would not recommend this place if you have a double-coated dog. They are not very upfront about costs and time.
