I brought my dog in for a proper grooming. She had tangled hair and was reluctantly expecting her to be shaved short. The owner then talked me into their special formula shampoo that would get all tangles out. This was for an additional $15 on top of the regular price. I agreed to the shampoo and to have her cut instead of shaved. He said shampoo treatment was guaranteed to last 2 months. I was surprised when he insisted I leave her there for 4 hours. Upon my return, I was more than a little shocked that her hair almost looked longer. He claimed I asked for her to stay as long as possible, I corrected him, and said a dog grooming means a cut irregardless. Having paid over $100 for her to basically get a shampoo and brushing, I asked that this be fixed. He told me to come back a week later. The following week, we brought her in, and he wanted an additional $40 dollars (cash - no tax!) to finish the job. He said he had video surveillance of our conversation and insisted I ask her not to be cut!?! When I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau, he threatened to sue me and "own my house". All this to say ----- STAY AWAY!! ps...she is still full of knots!
